Today my little brother Ryan would have been 10. Rest In Peace, Ryan Scott Dunn! I miss you buddy. I know that you are in heaven doing things that you never would have been able to do on this earth and that you are pain free, you little angel! Ryan, you were the sweetest most precious baby ever! I didn't realize how much you meant to me until it was too late and I regret with all my heart. I don't think there is a soul out there who could have met you and NOT fallen in love with you! I miss you more than you will ever know and I CAN'T WAIT to see you in heaven but for now my heart goes on breaking more and more everyday that you are not here :/ thank you for changing my life in such an amazing way!

Thanksgiving

Hey guys! Sorry I am a little late but this is my Thanksgiving post ;)
I realized this Thanksgiving that I have SOO much to be thankful for and I am not
always thankful even though I should be.
God has provided is with so much that we don't deserve like: life, water, a house, food, amazing parents, cars, a church, vision, being able to hear, warm beds, and SO much more!
I need to stop worrying about what other people have an wanting it and focus on what amazing things I have before it's to late and I don't have these things anymore.

2. I learned on Saturday that spending 4 hours with Julia Cain, Katie Gorveatte, and Alaina Lewis (especially when watching an Alabama football game) is some of the most fun you could ever have!

7. I discovered over the summer that if you ever have a broken heart that you need to spend that night with Katie Leanne Gorveatte and then have Julia Marie Cain over for 4 days and then go to a Newsboys concert with Julia, Katie, April, Ben, Mom, and Brooke.

8. The only 2 reasons that I am here on this earth are because 1. my amazing daddy fasted and prayed for 3 months when my mother was pregnant with me 2. Because the grace of our wonderful God:)

9. My favorite musical artist is Taylor Swift.

10. I have the craziest house ever! That consists of: my mom Cindy, my dad Ronnie, my brother Josh, my brother Brooke, me, my brother Brandon, my brother Yoban, my MawMaw, my PawPaw, my MawMaw's dog Benji, my dog Clara Bell, my cat Patsy, my cat Tiger, and Tiger's 4 kittens.

11. I have been told by several people that when I get married I'm gonna have 12 kids and 20 pets.

12. There are 4 of my friends mothers who are like mothers to me, I would tell them anything and I love them very much:) they are Momma Tracy, Momma Margaret, Momma Maria, and Momma Susan.

13. I hate when people try to conform to the way the world wants them to be. I say who cares! Be who you wanna be it doesn't matter what other people think.

14. I STILL have a Precious Moments baby doll named Baby Jerry that my mom made for my 22 year old brother when he was born that was then passed down to me.

15. My passion is kids:) I love everything about them....they are amazing and when I get older I want to be a Children's Minister.

16. My Youth Group is the most awsome thing ever and I would never leave it for anything!

17. I have a "big sister" her name is Mary Kate McLaurine and I have known her since I was 7 and I look up to her for everything.

18. My Youth Pastor Wes and his wife Ellen are some of the biggest influences in my life and even though I have only known them for 6 or 7 months I don't know what I would do without them.

19. The thing that makes me the most mad is being called "girly" because it is a very sexist comment! Power to the women!

20. As of this summer I absolutely LOVE roller coasters and the "Goliath" at Six Flags is my favorite;)

21. My parents won't let me have a Facebook and that makes me very bitter :/

24. I once had a little brother named Ryan but he had a heart attack and died 5 years ago and I miss him and my grandmother who died when I was 1 1/2 with all my heart.

Relying on God has to start all over everyday., as if nothing has yet been done.

How can something or someone like life or God be so simple yet so perplex at the same time?
and love,... love is so simple because you don't have to do anything to fall in love but then again it's perplexing because how do you know if you're REALLY in love?
or trusting God to get you through tough times, it would be really easy to just have enough faith to say " God, I completely trust you and I know that you'll get me through this" but as humans our nature is to want to do everything on our own I mean people consider it a weakness to not be able to do something without help but sometimes it shows TRUE strength to ask for help whether it be God's help or another humans help.
I know I personally struggle with being considered either emotionally or physically "weak" I absolutely HATE it when I can't pick up a hundred pound bag of sand that my brothers can pick up like it's a feather I wish I could do everything that guys can do BUT I know God created the man to be the physically stronger sex even though I may deny it sometimes I do know it's true.
I also hate going through trials like right now I'm going through something that is seriously testing the little patience I do have and (hopefully) giving me a lot more patience it's also testing my anger (because I have a BAD temper)and also it is taking a lot of my strength I have to have prayer time every couple of days just to make it through and I hate being tested like this but I know God does it for a purpose and that I'm gonna come out of it a much better person and that to get through it I need to F.R.O.G. (Fully Rely On God).
Well I'm gonna go pray and try to find some strength for the next couple of days.

Hola mi amigos!
Right now im sitting in bed (supposed to be doing school) texting CiCi :) I just wanted to say that church tonight was AWESOME good job Wes, Marty, Cason, Zoey, Kelsey, electric guitar player who I don't know your name, Paul, and all the other staff who made this happen :)
I'm looking forward to Grand Opening 4.0. Well that's about all I have to say other than......God KNOWS us but yet he still LOVES us!

Hey guys,
I know I haven't written in a long time but here I am!!
So what's happened since Campus Challenge? Well I went with Katie,April,Julia,Ben,Brooke,and Mom to a Newsboys concert at Alabama Adventure and we had an amazing time! It was one of the best days of the whole summer!
I started 9th grade and I LOVE being in highschool it's great! My subjects are: algebra (Saxon algebra 1), geography (just a workbook), biology (apologia), history (streams of civilazation), grammar (I have no idea), and reading (I finished Tom Sawyer and now I'm reading To Kill A Mockingbird).
Wednesday was Brandon's birthday he's now 6 and it's really wierd! I've been through a lot of emotional stuff this summer but were not gonna talk about that right now.
Today in church I went and learned the media for the back screen at church it's pretty easy and im excited about doing it (for real) the 19th and then I went to help in childrens church for the kickoff with the newly redone kids spot! It was so much fun! Good job Miss Lynne and Pastor John and worship team (Ben,April,and Dusten)!
Next Sunday is Katie and I's friendaversary and we will have known each other for 3 years! I'm really excites to celebrate it!
Sunday September 12th is the start of small groups at church and I'm really excited they were supposed to start today but Wes got sick so yeah......

Camp!

Camp,
it was amazing in all ways it was amazing......
The worship was the best i've ever been to.
I didn't like the speaker very much but I loved the messages.
the games were fun just not for me.
the view was great (the real view and the boys Katie)
We met the guys on Tuesday they gave us there phone numbers by writing them in the sand and then we kept talking to them because there room was right next to ours it was so fun!
and then another guy gave us his friends number! haha! it was great! :)
I am going to start working on being a better daughter by having a better attitude and not having to be told twice and stuff like that. That is my goal after a week at an amazing camp!
I realized just how much I love to worship God!
I want to do that with my life.......

Lake Day!

Today our church (First Wesleyan) had our High School lake day! It was amazing! We swam, tubed, ate REALLY good food, and had and all around great time! Right now I'm a Carol Ann's house watching Toy Story 2. This afternoon Carol Ann and I rode her horses a looooong way and had soo much fun it was great! well I gotta go.

today at church the pastor was having a contest for the dads with questions like oldest dad in the room, and grandad with the most grandchildren.... and for that question I was sitting there thinking "pawpaw has this one" (he has 12)well he raised his hand and the pastor was going around the roomasking the men how many they had...well he called on the man right before pawpaw and said "and how many do you have?" the man said 22.....pawpaw's hand went down and i thought "well.........nevermid then" it was great!

well thanks daddy I wouldn't be anywhere without you... I hope my husband is as good of a dad as you are...


aother thing that happened in church today was..........the pastor was talking about how a lot of young girls turn to young men to get there "hugs" and "kisses" when they don't have a daddy that gives that to them and he was saying stuff like they turn to the young men and it's stupid then he goes "and this is really hard to say with my daughters boyfriend sitting right next to her in the front row right here and he better tell me when she needs a hug or kiss and not give it to her himsel" it was a wonderfull day!

Lake!

Today we went to the lake and we kayaked swam and hiked it was awesome!! I can't wait to do it again. a lot has been going on in my life lately and i'm really confused about a lot of stuff...well maybe i will explain later.......bye!

Winter Jam was on sunday and i had so much fun!!! then i went home with april tospend the night but got sick at 4 in the morning and threw up 14 times on monday! :(

Valentines Day!

Small groups on valentines day were sooooooo fun we went to taco casa (my favorite!)and elizabeth had ALL THESE CRAZY STORIES it was great! then i went to katies house and we stayed up till 12:30 talking so much FUN!

Monday My 5th cousin Danny died of cancer :(
Today my mom and my three brothers and I will be leaving to go to Florida for the funeral wich is on Friday.

Why do we resist god?
Why can't we just be happy with the things he has already given us why do we ALWAYS have to BEG for more?
Is it not enough for us to have a nice home and good food and a family and friends that love us?
I mean look at the people in Haiti!!
Yesterday I was watching Extreme Makeover Home Edition and it was a family who there father had been a pastor at a local church then all the sudden he had a massive heart attack and died the family had to move out of the parsonage to make room for the new pastor so the mom did the best she could and purchased some land and a trailer but the trailer wasn't big enough because she had 5 kids 4 girls and 1 boy so the situation was the three youngest girls were sharing a room and the boy had his own room and the oldest girl shared a room with the mom but the trailer had no hot water and no gas for a stove so they basically couldn't cook and had to go to friends house for showers (they also had no showers in the house)so the makeover crew came and made them a new house but the mother didn't want to waist the trailer so she had the design crew make it into a house for a family she knew who needed it.
All this time I was sitting there thinking THAT"S WHAT I WANT TO DO WITH MY LIFE I want to help people I want to have a career that will show people gods grace but where I can also help those less fortunate!!!
