Giving thanks!

Thanksgiving was last week and I have been thinking...why are we as people so selfish and ungrateful? We have an abundance of things that we should be praising God for everyday! This year I think I am most thankful for my mom! She is an amazing woman and I don;t know where I would be without her by my side. I am so grateful that last spring God decided it was not her time to be with Him. She was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and I praise God she is still alive! Thank you so much, mom. You mean the world to me :)

Crazy Life!

Well, i see the last post i had was about moms cyst...
1.She had surgery and got it out and she has been undergoing chemotherapy treatments for the last couple of months but she is done now! (praise Jesus!)
2.Tuscaloosa, Alabama had a F4 Tornado the devastated the whole city & destroyed a of it.
3.This has to be the busiest summer of my life...if im not doing stuff with my youth group i am playing volleyball, having campus challenge practices, or going on trip with my family.
well, im going to try to start posting more soon!

Prayers

A couple of weeks ago the doctors found a cyst on one of my mom's ovaries and last Wednesday they discovered that her cancer fighting levels were up very high and this could be a sign that the cyst could possibly be cancerous. Ever since people have been found out our family has been overwhelmed with love, prayers, & kindness! On Sunday morning as our family went to the altar to pray we had so many friends come up to pray with us it was absolutely amazing and I just wanted to say we are so grateful for everything everyone is doing for us :) today my mom, dad, mawmaw, & pawpaw traveled UAB to meet with a surgeon to plan a course of action. The plan is whether it is cancerous or not they have scheduled surgery for Monday at 10AM to remove the cyst and her ovaries as a precaution. The doctor believes that the surgery will take care of the problem because the cyst seems to be contained and has not spread. Please keep sending prayer and love our way as we make it through these days! Thank you :)

Ryan Scott Dunn

Today my little brother Ryan would have been 10. Rest In Peace, Ryan Scott Dunn! I miss you buddy. I know that you are in heaven doing things that you never would have been able to do on this earth and that you are pain free, you little angel! Ryan, you were the sweetest most precious baby ever! I didn't realize how much you meant to me until it was too late and I regret with all my heart. I don't think there is a soul out there who could have met you and NOT fallen in love with you! I miss you more than you will ever know and I CAN'T WAIT to see you in heaven but for now my heart goes on breaking more and more everyday that you are not here :/ thank you for changing my life in such an amazing way!

Today was my Birthday!!!! I turned 15 and got my permit AND it was the best Birthday EVER!! :D

Thanksgiving

Hey guys! Sorry I am a little late but this is my Thanksgiving post ;)
I realized this Thanksgiving that I have SOO much to be thankful for and I am not
always thankful even though I should be.
God has provided is with so much that we don't deserve like: life, water, a house, food, amazing parents, cars, a church, vision, being able to hear, warm beds, and SO much more!
I need to stop worrying about what other people have an wanting it and focus on what amazing things I have before it's to late and I don't have these things anymore.
